This is the web site of the Comitato Regionale Lazio that is the section of the The Italian Chess federation (FSI) that manages the Lazio region.

Here are collected all the tournaments organized in Latium long time, semilampo, blitz, youth, school, university,, concurrent, district, parish, and local festivals. We aim to highlight the work within, formed by the courses of chess promoted for schools and for young talents, for instructors, for referees, for sports managers. There's also directions for cultural events, history and tourism, which have as their subject the game of chess.

Members of the Committee

The Regional Committee is theperipheral organ of the FSI with the task of applying the provisions and the provisions issued by the central facility for promoting and regulating the activities in their own area of competence.

The Lazio regional committee FSI attuale è in carica per il quadriennio olimpico 2021-2024 ed è composto da 8 membri:

1 President
4 Directors elected in the chess Clubs' quota
2 Directors elected in players' quota
1 Director elected in the instructors' quota

Provincial delegates

The structure of the Regional Committee of the Lazio is articulated at the provincial level through the Provincial Delegates, appointed by the Federal Council, having heard the opinion of the Regional Committee of competent jurisdiction. Quest delegates the task of organizing in their province of reference tournaments institutions such as the Championship of the Provincial of the CIA, the host of Provincial Youth and School.

Also have the functions of representation at the Provincial Committee of the C. O. N. I., support the Companies themselves or in their relations with the local authorities and the activities chess local. The office of the Provincial Delegates is a four-year coincides with the olympic quadrennial.
